Course-Specific Resources for HyFlex Course Models
The FYWP is committed to helping instructors manage the labor involved in the transition to remote and HyFlex instruction. We have developed class materials (lesson, activity, and assignment materials) for our CCI & CCII courses, which instructors can adopt and modify as they see fit for the Fall 2020 semester.
By now, you should have been invited to join the First-Year Writing Program Resource Course on Canvas. This Canvas repository contains "grab and go" class materials for CCI and CCII courses, as well as default syllabi, sample schedules, instructional guides, and other resources for the fall semester. Many of these materials (assignments, discussion boards, pages, etc.) can be copied directly into your own Canvas shells, where you can modify and adapt them as you see fit. (If you have not received this invitation or have any other questions about accessing the resource course, contact the program directors.)
Each course has its own module, where you will find nested resources to help you plan your schedule and assignment sequence. Many of these materials are also housed in Google Drive folders, which you can also access below. For each of these courses, see the First-Year Writing Resource Course on Canvas for more info and guidance.
