Canvas LMS Support

As of 2020, Rowan University uses Canvas for our LMS (learning management system). The LMS is a software platform for delivering learning material, managing student progress, and building a sense of community online. You might think of Canvas as an information hub for you and your students, which allows you to communicate with each other in multiple formats, keep track of assignments and grades, and link directly to Zoom and other tools. Every Rowan course receives a Canvas shell, accessible by all enrolled students in the course, which instructors can organize and design as they see fit.*

Instructors should use Canvas to make required course materials (e.g. the course syllabus and schedule) available to students; however, there are also countless ways to foster increased accessibility and student engagement using additional Canvas tools and strategies. Below, you'll find resources to help you navigate and utilize the Canvas LMS.
                                                                                                     * Rowan Global online courses are pre-built and delivered exclusively through Canvas.
